Amid the bloody violence, Gen V has romance too, just like the original series, The Boys. The main couple in The Boys is Hughie and Starlight, but what about in Gen V? Who does Marie Moreau, the main protagonist, end up with in Gen V?

No, Marie and Andre Anderson do not get together in Gen V. From the start, Andre is quite friendly towards Marie. He even invited her to a night out with his friends (which didn’t end well). But so far, his being friendly does not lead to anything romantic.

In fact, Andre ends up sleeping with Cate, his late best friend’s girlfriend. While Tek Knight suggests that Marie and Andre make a good-looking couple, Marie emphasizes that they are not together.

Marie and Jordan Li end up together in Gen V Season 1.

Marie and Jordan kiss in the fourth episode of Gen V, and in the episode’s ending, we see both of them in bed together. It seems that there’s an enemies-to-lovers story here.

Marie and Jordan got off on the wrong foot when they first met. Jordan was Professor Brink’s Teaching Assistant at the School of Crimefighting. Marie really wanted to get into the Intro class, but Jordan rejected her application.

Later on, Jordan gets angry at Marie for not telling the truth that it was them who fought Luke before he killed himself.

In the fourth episode of Gen V, when Tek Knight interrogates Marie, the latter reveals the truth, saying that the only reason she is still alive is because Jordan held Luke long enough for her to get away.

This upsets Jordan, with the latter emphasizing that while they wanted the truth revealed, they didn’t want Marie to bury herself in the process.

They argue, and Marie says that sometimes people don’t have an angle; sometimes, they’re just actual human beings. Jordan admits that they’re scared, and Marie says, “Don’t be.”

Jordan then shifts into their male form and kisses Marie. They then apologize, saying that’s not what Marie meant. Marie then kisses Jordan. Both of them kiss until Emma enters the room and is surprised by what she just saw.

The fourth episode ends with Marie and Jordan in bed, not remembering what happened before that.

In the fifth episode, Jordan tells Marie that things don't have to be weird between them and that they're "cool". This upsets Marie, with her admitting to Emma that she likes Jordan.

Jordan tells Maverick that when Marie woke up and saw them in their female form, she seemed freaked out. Jordan's first girlfriend in the sixth grade wanted them to be a guy always, so they assumed it was what Marie wanted.

Maverick advises Jordan to talk to Marie about it. So, Jordan talks to Marie and tells her that they don't know if they actually think that they're "cool".

But Marie doesn't even remember Jordan telling her that they're cool. They later find out that Cate is the one behind the memory wipe.

Right now, it appears that Marie and Jordan are endgame. In Gen V Season 1’s finale, they both agree that they are good together.

Talking about Marie and Jordan’s relationship in Gen V, co-showrunner Michele Fazekas told Collider:

“As we were breaking out the entire season, we really liked the idea of Marie and Jordan starting out where they really dislike each other, but they’re also very similar. They both are these hard-charging characters who see the world in black and white and have a bit of a chip on their shoulder. They’re a lot more alike [than different].
And I really liked exploring that with Marie. It is a queer relationship, and it’s something that Marie hadn’t experienced before, so what meaning does she draw from that? It’s a really delicious, rich area that we were excited to explore.”

Compared to the show’s other couples (namely, Andre and Cate and Sam and Emma), Marie and Jordan are doing much better, and their relationship will likely be explored further in Gen V Season 2.
