Who Is Jordan Li in Gen V?
Jordan Li is the #2 top-ranked student at Godolkin University and a Teaching Assistant at Professor Brink’s School of Crime Fighting.
Jordan is a competitive student who’s close friends with the highest-ranked student, Luke Riordan/Golden Boy, and Andre Anderson, son of the popular superhero Polarity.
Jordan has the ability to shift between male and female genders at will and uses the pronouns they/them. The character is played by Derek Luh and London Thor.
Talking about playing Jordan Li, actress London Thor shared with Entertainment Weekly:
"It's been really easy sharing a character with Derek. When we first met, it was kind of an immediate click — we both had similar thoughts. We both were open to talking about the character and open to each other's opinions. We built this character from the ground up. Luckily, I don't know how, maybe just the fact that we've been stranded in Toronto [filming] for four months together, we managed to take on each other's personalities sometimes. Our characteristics are pretty similar. It's been great having a partner like that."
In the third episode of Gen V, we find out that Jordan was born a boy. Their father doesn’t approve of their ability to shift between male and female forms, as he considers them his firstborn son.
Their father wants them to be a boy forever, but Jordan explains that they’re not a boy all the time.
Jordan then tells their father that they’ve never changed and always just been themselves – the kid addicted to their PlayStation, who goes to Olive Garden for breadsticks, and binges Property Brothers. But their father’s disapproval is clear.

What Are Jordan Li’s Powers in Gen V?
Jordan Li’s male and female forms have different powers. In their male form, Jordan is indestructible, having super strength and durability. In their female form, Jordan has super agility and can fire energy blasts from their hands.
All of these powers were seen in a fight between Jordan and Golden Boy in the first episode of Gen V. Jordan switched between male and female forms to use their different set of powers.
Jordan was able to withstand Golden Boy’s strong punches in their male form. They were also able to fight back using energy blasts in their female form.
These abilities explain why Professor Brink favored Jordan and why they were ranked #2 at the university.
Brink believed that Jordan would become a successful hero one day and save thousands of people.
