Rosario Dawson Already Looking Forward to Ahsoka Season 2

There is little doubt that Ahsoka is currently one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year. However, Rosario Dawson is already looking towards the future. The Mandalorian actor just admitted she is hoping the new Star Wars series will be renewed for Season 2 right away.

We recently got some awesome updates on Ahsoka, thanks to Star Wars Celebration 2023. In addition to the first teaser for the upcoming show, we also got the official poster featuring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.

The show has yet to premiere but Dawson is feeling very optimistic about the series (via Twitter). She pointed out that if Ahsoka does well, "maybe we'll get a second season."

For now, it is unclear whether Ahsoka is going to be a standalone or a limited series. However, there is a huge chance that one season alone will not be enough to tell Ahsoka's story or that of her companions. Hopefully, this means we're getting multiple seasons to catch up with the rest of the characters we met in Star Wars Rebels.

Ahsoka will also feature Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger. It has been confirmed that Lars Mikkelsen will reprise his role as Grand Admiral Thrawn, making him the first Star Wars Rebels voice actor to play the live-action version of his character.

For now, we know that most of the Ghost crew will show up in Ahsoka. Steve Blum recently provided the voice of the live-action Zeb Orrelios in The Mandalorian Season 3 but it has not yet been confirmed whether the character will appear in the upcoming new series.

Ahsoka has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to premiere on Disney+ in August 2023.
