The Mandalorian's latest chapter was pretty special for fans of the Star Wars Rebels animated series because it marked the live-action debut of Garazeb Orrelios, one of the show's most beloved characters. Zeb was only briefly featured in Episode 5, offering Captain Teva some pep talk as he was planning to seek the New Republic's help to aid Neverra which was under siege by Pirate King Gorian Shard.

While some had to wait for the episode's end credits to confirm that it was indeed Zeb, longtime fans knew it was him as soon as they heard the character's voice. In another full-circle moment, Steve Blum was tasked to voice the fan-favorite Lasat but it turns out that wasn't his only contribution to the episode.

Blum's son Brandon revealed on Instagram that the renowned voice actor also did motion capture for Zeb. Of course, it no longer comes as a surprise considering he's also credited for his facial motion capture work in games like Midnight Suns and Insomniac's anticipated Wolverine.

The post's caption reads: "Also frickin huge shout-out to my dad who continues to kill it in VO and facial capture. Proud of you every day". Check it out here:

It'll be interesting to see if Zeb will actually play a major role in the MandoVerse moving forward but considering shows like The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and even Skeleton Crew sets the stage for the live-action arrivals of other Rebels characters like Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Grand Admiral Thrawn among others, it wouldn't be too farfetched to think that he will.

The sixth episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 will hit Disney+ on Wednesday, April 5th.
