The Mandalorian Director Says Season 3's Final Episodes Will Feature Major Resolutions

The Mandalorian Season 3 have given us a lot of awesome developments for Din Djarin and Grogu but fans have also started speaking out about certain plot points. For instance, people are becoming concerned about how the series is putting the focus on Bo-Katan Kryze. However, director Rick Famuyiwa assures that all these seemingly random plot points will get a proper resolution in the final episodes of the third season.

In the first few episodes of The Mandalorian Season 3, it was established that Din Djarin needed to go to Mandalore to redeem himself to the Creed. Since then, the series has started to focus on Bo-Katan Kryze and at one point, the story moved to Dr. Pershing and Moff Gideon, who may have escaped the New Republic.

But what's the point in all these plot points? Rick Famuyiwa, who is directing the last two episodes of The Mandalorian Season 3, promises that it will all come together.

"When we get to 7 & 8 a lot of interesting things have been planted, we'll see some resolution," Famuyiwa stated (via Screenrant).

This is comforting at some level and we're hoping that this means the series will shift the focus back to its two main characters. Moreover, we could finally find out what happened to Moff Gideon all this time and whether he will continue to be a major player in the Star Wars series.

The last two episodes of The Mandalorian Season 3 will be directed by Rick Famuyiwa. The seventh and penultimate episode is titled Chapter 23 while the season finale is titled Chapter 24. The official subtitles are expected to be revealed when the episodes air next week and the week after.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7 will premiere on Disney+ on April 12, 2023. The season finale is set to begin streaming on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
