The title of One Piece Chapter 1100 is Thank You, Bonney, and it features Usopp watching Sanji chop vegetables and being reminded of the Usopp Pirate Crew on the cover page.
Admiral Kizaru Borsalino arrives at Laboratory 8 to visit Dr. Vegapunk and his Pacifista project with Bartholomew Kuma.
It’s his job to check if Dr. Vegapunk will collaborate with pirates, especially with Kuma, who has a 296-million-berry bounty on his head, in secret.
Kuma agreed to the three conditions the World Government has set in exchange for treating Bonney’s Sapphire Scales Disease.
He needs to join the seven warlords as a pirate since the rookie Ace recently knocked out one of the seven, and the pirating world is growing restless.
In addition, Kuma needs to be a human weapon for the Marines since his unique qualities can make him a menace to other pirates.
Lastly, Kuma needs to abandon his mind and free will, as if he needs to die. Dr. Vegapunk rejects the idea, but he is in no position to make demands.
Despite these conditions, Kuma is more than happy to know that Bonney will be cured by her 10th birthday. They will also get to spend time together before parting ways for good.
As Kuma undergoes augmentation, he will reign over the seas as a warlord. Bonney, on the other hand, will be granted freedom only when Kuma has fully lost his will.
Kuma will also be forbidden from contacting his daughter or escaping after the procedure. If Kuma violates the agreement, Bonney will be turned into a slave.
Kuma assures St. Jaygarcia Saturn that he will do anything as long as Bonney ends up in the comfort of the church in Sorbet Kingdom, where she grew up.
In the next six months, Kuma and Bonney stayed in the laboratory together, while Dr. Vegapunk was shorthanded due to the amount of ideas flowing out of his huge head. They also spend some fun time with Sentomaru and Kizaru.
After six months, Bonney returns to the Sorbet Kingdom under the watch of Cipher Pol No. 8 intelligence agent Alpha. She acts like Bonney’s nurse, but in reality, she’s there to make sure that Kuma will keep the end of his bargain.
Kuma leaves Bonney behind, and since then, he has been utterly faithful to the orders of the World Government, and his presence among the seven warlords terrified the pirates of the world.
We then see all the reactions of the warlords upon seeing Kuma’s face in the newspaper.
While sailing the seas of East Blue, Kuma pens a letter to Bonney as if they will be reunited once the latter turns 10.
He receives new orders from the government as his ship gets closer to a village that looks like Luffy’s hometown.
