Throughout the years, many female characters, regardless of whether they are friends or enemies, have been introduced in One Piece. Kalifa is one of the most memorable female antagonists, who has caused trouble to the Straw Hats during Water 7 and Enies Lobby Arcs. So far, here’s what happened to Kalifa in One Piece.

Kalifa’s name made waves online as One Piece Chapter 1100 spoilers revealed a new character that looked a lot like her.

This is Alpha/Alufa, and she has been sent by the World Government to keep an eye on Bonney while she receives treatment for her Sapphire Scales Disease.

When Kalifa first appeared in One Piece, she used to follow Iceburg, the mayor of Water 7, and the president of the Galley-La Company around. She acts like Iceburg’s bodyguard, in addition to playing the part of his secretary.

She was also portrayed as a very responsible woman who can juggle all of Iceburg’s affairs, making sure that everything is very well taken care of.

However, Kalifa has a hot temper, especially toward those who pose a threat to Iceburg.

After Kalifa’s disguise was revealed, we found out that she’s the only female agent in CP9.

Her demeanor also changed, from being a businesslike woman to a forgetful, not-so-bright CP9 agent. In fact, she even mistook Chopper for Nami.

Kalifa is known for her trademark phrase, “That’s sexual harassment," which she says most of the time to people, most especially her superior Spandam, when he casually calls her name.

For starters, Kalifa came from a family of assassins. She is the daughter of Laskey, who is also a CP9 agent.

Kalifa became a member of CP9 and was tasked with going on a mission to not only infiltrate the Galley-La Company but also to retrieve the blueprints for Pluton, which they suspect are in the possession of Iceburg.

As it turns out, the blueprint has been passed on to Franky, aka Cutty Flam.

After the incident in Water 7, Kalifa reunited with the other members of CP9, including her superior, Spandam.

She was given the devil fruit called Bubble-Bubble Fruit, which allows her to create and control bubbles that can cleanse the strength of her enemies.

In addition, Kalifa can also use the bubbles to make the bodies of his opponents slippery, smooth, and glistening.

She can also create a giant bar of soap armor from the bubbles to shield herself. The downside of her devil fruit powers is that water can easily nullify their effects.

Surprisingly, Kalifa also possesses the ability to use both the Busoshoku Haki and the Kenbunshoku Haki!

During the Enies Lobby Arc, Kalifa fought with Sanji, who got turned into a soap doll after refusing to strike Kalifa just because she was a woman. She eventually fought Nami, who defeated her by using the Clima-Tact.

Spandam disbanded the CP9, but for some reason, Kalifa got reinstated and promoted to CP0 despite everything that happened.

During the Wano Country Arc, Kalifa is seen with other CP0 agents watching from outside of the Celestial Dragon Gate while Fujitora and Ryokugyo deal with the revolutionaries.

They managed to capture Princess Vivi and hold her at Pangaea Castle, who demands to be released.

Of course, Kalifa has to shut her off, saying that Vivi will become one of the pets of the World Nobles and no one will rescue her.

That’s when Wapol comes bursting into the room, taking Vivi away from Kalifa and Jabra’s watch.

Meanwhile, in One Piece Chapter 1100, fans believe that Kalifa is related to Alpha/Alufa, who has been introduced as one of Bonney’s watchers under the World Government.

She acts like a nurse to Bonney, who will keep her comfortable during her rehabilitation at the chapel in Sorbet Kingdom.

In reality, she was asked to be there to make sure that Bartholomew Kuma would keep his end of the bargain.

Noticeably, Alpha/Alufa looks like Kalifa, which is why fans are theorizing that they have a connection.
