Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 began with the Hidden Inventory arc which followed a pivotal time in Gojo and Geto’s past. Though it started quite cheerful, the arc took a dark turn with the death of Riko Amanai.

While these events are pivotal in Satoru Gojo unlocking his full ability, their failed mission and subsequent isolation of Suguru Geto was the cause of the breakup between the two close friends.

During the season’s fifth episode, Gojo and Geto had a confrontation which solidified their parting of ways.

This was a huge scene in the manga, and the anime did it justice based on the reactions of fans.

In fact, even the official KFC Twitter account joined in the reactions as the Gojo and Geto scene happened in front of a KFC outlet.

Jujutsu Kaisen is currently on a hiatus which might be good for new fans who need a breather.

Although, Shonen Jump is making sure that fans continue to feel the pain of Geto and Gojo’s parting of ways in their new video.
