What Is the Star Plasma Vessel?
The Star Plasma Vessel is a young woman who possesses the necessary potential to revitalize the cursed technique called Immortality by merging with the user.
The level of potency varies among the vessels, with some exhibiting greater capabilities.
Interestingly, these vessels can establish communication with each other, even if one of them has already fused with the immortal being.
However, the user is unable to directly communicate with those who have integrated into them.

Why Master Tengen Needs the Star Plasma Vessel
In Jujutsu Kaisen, the Star Plasma Vessel is the one that is compatible with Master Tengen.
Tengen, an immortal jujutsu sorcerer, dedicates their time to guarding the Tombs of the Star Corridor.
Tengen, who possesses the Immortality cursed technique, will not remain eternally youthful.
It wouldn’t matter if all Tengen did was get older. But when their body ages and reaches a certain point, the cursed technique starts rewriting their body.
Due to this phenomenon called evolution, they will no longer be human and will climb to a higher state.
According to Tengen, those who reach this higher state of being have no will. As such, Tengen will no longer be Tengen if the merge fails to happen.
All the jujutsu schools, the various barriers that make the foundation of jujutsu society, and the barriers' techniques, are all powered by Tengen.
Without his power, the sorcerers will fail to maintain security or clean up after their missions.
Master Tengen and the Star Plasma Vessel's Merge, Explained
Every 500 years, the Star Plasma Vessel and Tengen merge. For this to happen, a greatly compatible Star Plasma Vessel must be escorted and taken to Tengen.
After the merge, it would rewrite the body’s genetic information, and the next merge can happen after another 500 years or so.
In the worst-case scenario of a merge not happening, Tengen might become the biggest threat to humankind.
In the event that Tengen’s body undergoes rejuvenation after merging with the Star Plasma Vessel, the associated cursed technique will likewise be affected, impeding any possibility of evolution.
The timing of the merger is crucial as it happens only on a full moon day.
Unfortunately, there are groups apart from the jujutsu sorcerers who are eyeing the Star Plasma Vessel.
