The Mandalorian Season 3 is soon coming to an end, making way for the next upcoming live Star Wars series, Ahsoka. Despite the consistently released content, fans remain concerned and skeptical on the declining quality of their shows.
Jon Favreau explains that they already have an extensive plan for the entire franchise, while working with Dave Filoni and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
“We’re having a great time. And now, I think you’re getting a taste here of how much planning has gone into Star Wars.” Favreau said while speaking with Screen Rant after the Lucasfilm Showcase panel at Star Wars Celebration.
Favreau added, “I could really speak to the time period that we’re working on, but if you look at what [Kathleen Kennedy] has been doing, Dave Filoni has been very involved with all of it.”
“You see The Acolyte and you see Andor, and you see other films that are going to be coming. All of these things have to be coordinated, because you want to make sure that there’s a consistency across all of them.”
Considering that the Star Wars franchise has evidently expanded, Favreau is merely reassuring fans worldwide that they have more in store than you think.

He even emphasized that “you would [not] need to watch each one”, although he admits the experience would be different if you religiously watch them all.
“We’re making sure that for the people who are watching all of them, it’s additive, and it helps add greater insight to what’s happening in the Star Wars galaxy.” Favreau concluded.
As of now, The Mandalorian Season 3 is not headed towards what Star Wars fans expected — in a bad way. Not only are Din Djarin and Grogu being cast aside on their own show, but the rolling episodes continue to receive mixed reactions from fans, as well.
