With the series breaking through the narrative, The Mandalorian Season 3 has been having some trouble on the pacing and approach to the conflicts of the show that some fans are not buying it. From what once was the most exciting, the series has been having some backlash on it.

The Mandalorian used to be the talk of the town, the series that broke the surface with it being a risk taken by the producers and people loved it for its story so what is actually happening right now to the series that its seems to have a lackluster performance?

The Mandalorian Season 3 opened with the redemption of Din Djarin as he takes an adventure back to Mandalore with Grogu to be able to return to the Mandalorian covert and the biggest help he got is from Bo-Katan Kryze.

While there is no problem with Bo-Katan helping, some fans are not loving that the show seems to be shifting the focus to her and pulling out Din Djarin from the spotlight. It is, as if, Din Djarin is being sidelined in his own series.

Theories even suggest that the endgame in The Mandalorian Season 3 is Bo-Katan which could have been a different show, that the franchise could have given Bo-Katan her own series but instead, they chose to put her in the center of The Mandalorian, setting Din aside.

There's Grogu who remains the most adorable character in the series and it is great that the show is exploring his past but still, that could not hold the interest of some viewers because with the explosive Season 2 finale, that kind of a follow-up just does not add up.

On top of these issues, what's more pressing is the pacing and approach of the narrative to the conflicts laid down in each episode. It is, as if, the show is taking its time, but to the point that it is too much.

The Mandalorian Season 3 faces some struggles in keeping the fanbase interested on the show. With a little bit of this and that, the series still feels quite empty despite the tons of things that they are packing up to set up other titles in the future of the franchise.

Here are some of the reactions of fans online:

Another factor that levelled the field for The Mandalorian Season 3 not being as stellar as before could be its timing, too. Pedro Pascal sure is great but to have him in two different series with an orphaned child under his care, The Last of Us quite overshadowed his return as Din Djarin.

Even when the two shows have nothing to do with each other, there's that familiarity in the role of Pedro Pascal. The actor did nothing wrong but it may be the timing that was not right for The Mandalorian Season 3.

The Mandalorian Season 3 releases new episodes every week on Disney Plus.
