Crunchyroll Announces Summer 2023 Sub and Dub Anime Lineup

With the next anime season beginning in just a week, Crunchyroll finally revealed its Summer 2023 sub and dub anime lineup.

For this new season, the highlights include the long-awaited second season of Mushoku Tensei, the new Horimiya anime, and the hilarious new Vending Machine isekai, among many others.

Mushoku Tensei, Horimiya Headline the Crunchyroll Summer Lineup

It has been over a year now since the first season ended, and finally, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will come back with Season 2.

On Crunchyroll, the show will first release with English subs, with a dub release to follow.

The other main highlight is Horimiya: The Missing Pieces. While the first Horimiya season had a proper ending, this new anime adapts some of the arcs and storylines in the manga that were skipped over.

Along with these, there are six shows that have yet to be revealed, though more info should be announced about these soon.

Ayakashi Triangle and The Misfit of Demon King Academy II Return From Winter

Aside from a bevy of new shows, Crunchyroll also confirmed that several titles will return after getting delayed in Winter 2023.

The first is Ayakashi Triangle, the gender-bending anime from the creator of To Love Ru.

Another returning anime is The Misfit of Demon King Academy II, which restarts its broadcast from the first episode in July 2023.

Thus, new episodes of the show will begin broadcasting in mid-August.

Interestingly, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is not being hyped up as part of the lineup.

Though given that the previous season and the movie were released on Crunchyroll, many fans expect the second season to also release there.
