The upcoming fifth episode of Ahsoka is expected to be the biggest one yet as teased by the final moments of the fourth episode where they showed that Ahsoka has entered the World Between Worlds and encountered her former master Anakin Skywalker.

We don't know yet at this point why Anakin exists in the mystical dimension and why Ahsoka was brought into that world, but we do know that the next episode will explore their relationship, and reports have claimed that the two will encounter different "what if" scenarios from past events.

One of the sequences that is rumored to happen in the episode is the recreation of the Mustafar fight in Revenge of the Sith with Anakin and young Ahsoka this time around instead of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

While there was no confirmation on whether that scene will happen in the episode, fans are still excited about the idea of seeing a different version of one of the key moments when Anakin became Darth Vader in the prequel trilogy film.

However, it looks like we might not see that scene anymore as a new report has suggested that it has been left on the cutting room floor.

According to insider MakingStarWars (via Bespin Bulletin), the Mustafar fight scene that they previously reported would happen in the fifth episode of Ahsoka has been removed from the final cut.

While they didn't provide the details of why the scene was removed in the episode, they iterated their scoop that it was shot and their reporting at that time was "not wrong" as they are certain that it existed.

They cited someone who has seen the episode as the source for their scoop on this alleged deleted scene.

"The Mustafar sequence, I believe, has been cut. I say that like I’m not one hundred percent sure that it’s been cut, but I’m fairly certain it’s been cut because somebody that I know saw the whole thing was like, ‘Uh, that wasn’t in the version I saw.’ Unless they’re like holding it back," the insider said.

"Another person who told me a bunch about the World Between Worlds content and what happens there, they said it wasn’t in that moment, and that’s where I was always told that moment would exist and that’s why I knew they were doing Anakin stuff."

They added, "Hey, sometimes things get cut and sometimes I’m just wrong. But I don’t think I’m just wrong on this one and that it was cut."

Obviously, we will never find out until we see the episode tomorrow whether the scene exists in the final cut or not. If it's not included, we will never know until Dave Filoni himself confirms that they shot the scene and decided to take it out.

Assuming that the alleged Mustafar scene did not make it to the final cut of the episode, there are a variety of reasons why they might have removed it whether it's because of pacing issues or the runtime was too long and they need to sacrifice a scene.

Nevertheless, this could disappoint some fans who might have been looking forward to that scene happening in the episode. Let's wait and see until the episode airs whether this is true and what the reception will be after.
