Nothing beats the original, but in this case, could the Young Avengers actually be better than the OG MCU team?

Many MCU fans have dreaded the day the original superheroes we grew up with would make their exit from the billion-dollar franchise. However, once Iron Man snapped his fingers in Avengers: Endgame, everything fell into place.

As much as we miss the OG Avengers, there's a new MCU team coming to town and that is the Young Avengers. While we merely have theories on who these members might be, here's our take on how the Young Avengers could be better than the original team.

The ending of The Marvels saw to it that MCU diehards witness two things that are circling within the billion-dollar franchise: mutants are becoming canon on the big screens soon and the Young Avengers are coming to play, too.

Nobody expected that Kamala Khan, out of every young MCU superhero in the franchise so far, would play the role of Nick Fury in gathering their own team.

At the same time, it does kind of make sense, considering how much of a diehard fanatic she is about the Avengers, most evidently, of Captain Marvel. So, having Kamala geek out about making friends with fellow supers does sound like a good move.

While it remains to be seen who exactly is included in the Young Avengers team, we do have a slight idea of who they are, namely, Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop as the new Hawkeye, Peter Parker's Spider-Man, Shuri's Black Panther, America Chavez, Cassie Lang's Stature, Riri Williams' Ironheart, and quite possibly, Tommy and Billy Maximoff.

Given that the majority on this list have superpowers, not just superhuman abilities, this team is already turning out to have a more powerful stance than how the original was.

Another factor to consider is the age difference between the young Avengers vs. OG Avengers.

The original Avengers were undoubtedly more experienced in terms of controlling their powers and abilities, and they were more prominent in the MCU franchise.

However, this leaves more space for bigger potential for the young Avengers. If we count on Spider-Man (depending on how everybody losing memory about him would work out in the franchise), we do have Kamala, Kate, America, and Cassie to train the other younger heroes on the team.

If anything, the only thing that could pose a problem for the young Avengers is their inexperience and figuring out a strategy that would best work with their synergy.

Let's not forget that Peter Parker's Spider-Man not only faced the Vulture and Mysterio all on his own at the ripe age of 15-16 years old, but he did get to fight the classic Spider-Man villains in the Sonyverse, too.

America Chavez may have jumped out of nowhere and entered Earth-616's reality to learn how she could control her multiversal jumping powers, but she managed to beat the Scarlet Witch alongside Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Cassie Lang invented a Quantum Realm map based on her father and family's stories and even got to learn how to use the Ant-Man suits to take advantage of her enemies.

As the hailer of the new Black Panther suit and superhero role in Wakanda, Shuri's intelligence partnered with her intense flexibility and versatility to fight with her inventions would render her unstoppable against any formidable foe.

Then, most recently, Kamala got to fight side-by-side with Captain Marvel and Captain Monica Rambeau in The Marvels amongst planets and even fixed the portal hole in the alternate universe.

The only ones we're missing on this list are the official debut of Riri's Ironheart and Wanda Maximoff's incarnated twin sons, Tommy and Billy Maximoff in Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.

Either way, with the original Avengers out of the picture, the young Avengers wouldn't be alone on their journey. The vast reality of the Multiverse would be far too great a threat for the team to take on their own.

Luckily, there are still other non-Avenger heroes on their way to making their debut on the big and small screens in the upcoming years of the billion-dollar franchise who could help these youngsters in tip-top shape.

Additionally, Thor and Hulk are still active within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and as part of the OG MCU team, the young Avengers would be in good hands, counting on Nick Fury's involvement, as well.
