Xdinary Heroes Jun Han will not be promoting with the band temporarily due to his health-related issues.

JYP Entertainment announced the news through a statement on Wednesday. The label said Jun Han would not be part of Xdinary Heroes' upcoming promotions amid his temporary hiatus.

What Happened to Xdinary Heroes Jun Han?

According to the agency, Jun Han was diagnosed with enteritis following his recent hospital visit.

"Based on the advice of health experts that he needs rest and recuperation, it has been decided that JunHan will halt his promotions temporarily, as to prioritize his recovery," the agency said.

The upcoming promotions will be carried out by Xdinary Heroes' five members: Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, and Jooyeon. JYP Entertainment also apologized to fans who have been waiting for Xdinary Heroes' Deadlock comeback.

Xdinary Heroes is set to mark its comeback with its third mini album, Deadlock, on April 26 at 6 p.m. KST.

According to Mount Sinai's official website, enteritis occurs when a person eats or drinks things that are infected with bacteria and viruses. These then cause inflammation and swelling in the stomach and large intestine.

Among its symptoms include abdominal pain, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and blood in the stool.

Xdinary Heroes To Release New Album

Xdinary Heroes' third EP will have seven songs: Freakin' Bad, Come into my head, Bicycle, checkmate, Good enough, Man in the Box, and Dear H.

JYP Entertainment said the new album would show the band's "upgraded" music capabilities as all members participated in making the songs and their lyrics. The album will be a follow-up to its 2022 album, Overload.

Following its 2021 debut, Xdinary Heroes already received several nominations and won awards.

It scored the Best Band Performance for Happy Death Day and Best New Male Artist at the 2022 MAMA Awards. The band was also nominated for the Artist of the Year and Song of the Year at the same awards shows.

Genie Music Awards and Golden Disc Awards also nominated Xdinary Heroes for Best Male Rookie and Rookie Artist of the Year, respectively.
