Jessi received offers from different labels after leaving PSY's P NATION. But she chose to sign an exclusive contract with Jay Park label MORE VISION.

Jay Park welcomed Jessi to his company through a profile video and exclusive photos of the rapper on MORE VISION's official YouTube channel and Instagram page. The All I Wanna Do singer established the company after stepping down as the CEO of H1GHR MUSIC and AOMG.

Meanwhile, Jessi became one of the artists who are currently under MORE VISION, and she recently revealed why she chose the label over other companies.

Why Jessi Decided To Sign With Jay Park's MORE VISION

On Sunday, the NUNU NANA hitmaker appeared as a special guest on The Season – Jay Park Drive. The show's host, Jay Park, introduced her as MORE VISION's new family member.

In the episode, Jessi revealed why she joined the company despite other labels trying to reach out.

"To be honest, I was planning on establishing a company on my own. But it wasn't easy after trying," she went on. "I have a personality that takes on the challenge to try everything. And I felt like Jay Park and I have that in common. A new start. New artist."

Jessi shared a similar statement on her Instagram page after she left P NATION. At that time, she also expressed her desire to establish her own company while clarifying that she still loves her former label despite her exit.

In addition, she told her fans during her Europe tour that she only wanted to have a new chapter in her life but still felt grateful to work with the Gangnam Style singer in the past years.

Jessi Performs at We Bridge Music Festival

As part of Jessi's first schedules under MORE VISION, she joined the We Bridge Music Festival and Expo on Friday. The event aims to close the gap between several industries, including art, fashion, media, and music.

Jessi performed her set at the event. She joined the lineup alongside MONSTA X, CIX, and ONEUS. The festival also paid tribute to ASTRO Moonbin, who died at the age of 25 on April 19.

Actor Yuri Park served as the MC.
