Nam Joo Hyuk reportedly met his former schoolmate, who accused him of committing school violence.
Two accusers came forward in 2022 and accused Nam Joo Hyuk of bullying them. They also argued that the actor abused them physically, mentally, and emotionally. Management SOOP has since dismissed the claims; Dispatch also launched an independent investigation and found out that the accusations were baseless and not true.
Months after the issue surfaced, a local media outlet revealed that the actor met one of the two accusers.

Nam Joo Hyuk Met His Schoolmate Amid Bullying Allegations
On Monday, Sports Kyunghang exclusively reported that the Twenty-Five, Twenty-One actor set up a meeting with a schoolmate regarding the accusations. The report added that the meeting had already happened several times, but the two parties could not come up with a resolution.
"Actor Nam Joo Hyuk had met with a schoolmate who accused him of school violence. The actor reportedly met with the alumni several times in person to discuss the allegation, but they were unable to come to an agreement due to their differing recollections," the report said.

Sports Kyunghang added that Nam Joo Hyuk and the accuser have different memories of what happened, so the conversation could not go smoothly.
The new report came out amid Nam Joo Hyuk's military training. He started his mandatory duty at the Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province as a platoon leader trainee.
He completed his five weeks of basic military training and will soon become a member of the military police task force.
Nam Joo Hyuk's Bullying Accusations
The first accuser opened up about Nam Joo Hyuk and how he used to hang out with bullies when he was a student. He reportedly remained a bully from middle school to high school, saying that they were one of his victims.
Weeks later, My Daily News published the interview of the second victim conducted by Sports Kyunghyang. The accuser said the trauma came back after seeing Nam Joo Hyuk in a movie.
Both allegations were debunked by Nam Joo Hyuk's agency.
Meanwhile, Dispatch interviewed his 18 classmates and two teachers who said that the claims were false. The publication released the names of the individuals: Seo Seok Hoon, Lee, Shin, Park, H, L, Shin, Park, H, L, Shin, S1, S2, Kim, Jo Bu Hyung, Lee, Park, Son, Y1, Y2, J, H, Park Tae Gyu (first-year homeroom teacher) and Hong Sung Man (third-year homeroom teacher).
