Oscar-nominated actor John Malkovich has joined the cast of Marvel Studio's The Fantastic Four.
We've been hearing a lot of casting news surrounding the upcoming MCU film for the past few months as it is heading to production this summer.
Now, another talent has been added to the roster as they have recruited an iconic award-winning actor to join the growing ensemble of the highly-anticipated MCU film.

John Malkovich Joins the Cast of The Fantastic Four
Reports have confirmed that Malkovich is making his MCU debut as he is set to join the cast of The Fantastic Four.
The details regarding the role that he will play in the film are currently under wraps.
He is joining a star-studded ensemble that already includes Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), Ralph Ineson (Galactus), Julia Garner (Shalla-Bal), and Paul Walter Hauser.
A two-time Oscar nominee, Malkovich recently starred in the Netflix comedy series Space Force and Apple TV+ series The New Look. He made a guest appearance in the final episode of Netflix's Ripley.
He already made his mark in the comic book movie genre as he co-starred in Warner Bros./DC's Jonah Hex and the RED films.
While there are no details yet regarding Malkovich's role, it is still wonderful casting news nevertheless since he is a very talented actor as proven by his past works and accolades that he received in his decades-long career.
It is interesting to see whether Malkovich will end up playing a character on the First Family's side or a villain that the heroes will face. Perhaps we will be able to get some clarity about it soon.
The Fantastic Four is scheduled for release in theaters on July 25, 2025.
