Ralph Ineson to Play Galactus in The Fantastic Four

Reports have confirmed that The Green Knight star Ralph Ineson has been cast to play Galactus in The Fantastic Four.

The iconic villain is described as "an intergalactic being who eats the life force of planets. And now he just picked the wrong planet to nosh on."

This won't be Ineson's first rodeo in the MCU as he previously played a Ravager pilot in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Ineson also reacted to his Fantastic Four casting in his recent post on X where he shared his excitement over his involvement in the MCU film.

"World devouring cosmic villain is it? I’ll see what I can do," he wrote in his caption.

Ineson recently starred in films such as The First Omen, The Creator, The Northman, and The Pope's Exorcist. He will soon appear in the upcoming horror films Nosferatu and Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. He also had a recurring role in Disney+'s Willow TV series.

Genre fans would also recognize the actor for his role as Dagmer Cleftjaw in Game of Thrones and Amycus Carrow in the final three Harry Potter films.

While Ineson may not be a widely recognizable name among the general audience, it is still exciting casting news since his past works have proven that he is a talented actor and has a unique voice that could turn Galactus into a powerful figure on screen.

It is interesting to see how Galactus' presence will play out in the film and what kind of threatening presence will he have for the First Family.

The Fantastic Four is scheduled for release in theaters on July 25, 2025.
