Netflix is at it again with a new reality game show called The Devil's Plan. While some compared the show with Physical: 100, we see it as more of a milder Squid Game series without the brutal killings. So who wins in The Devil's Plan ending?

The players in The Devil's Plan get eliminated when they lose all their Pieces. The players who lose their Pieces will have to leave the show even if everyone is in the middle of a game. Meanwhile, the two players who score the lowest Pieces after a Main Match will be sent to prison.

At the end of episode 9, Lee Si-won and Ha Seok-jin were the two players sent to prison. This move surprised everyone, including Si-won, who had just recently formed an alliance with Cheo Yeon-woo.

After the strategy game played by everyone, Seok-jin shocked everyone by sending Yeon-woo home after she lost a Piece. This devastated Si-won since they had a chance to send home their strongest rival, Orbit. Instead, the remaining person she trusted in the show betrayed her.

But once they were behind prison walls, Seok-jin revealed to Si-won that he had cracked the code for the safe inside the prison. It was all part of Seok-jin's plan so he and Si-won could savor that moment together.

Inside the prison, the two manage to open the safe, which leads to a secret door. They were then faced with a new challenge of playing for 10 additional Pieces or be sent home right away.

Since only one could play per day, Si-won decided to go first. When she opened the door, Seok-jin was able to see what the game was: Gomoku or Five-in-a-row.

Si-won decided to take the chance and play against an NPC (non-player character). The catch, however, was that they had to play it blind-- meaning the circular pieces they used on the board were of various colors so there was no way to identify which belonged to whom.

To make it even more confusing, the NPC matched whatever color the player put on the board.

Unfortunately, the confusion got Si-won and she was eliminated on the spot. She did not even get a chance to say goodbye to Seok-jin, who waited for her back at the jail cell.

The other players in the living area were surprised to see an announcement that Si-won had been eliminated. After all, she was already in prison and it seemed like a safe place to be in.

That entire night, Seok-jin couldn't sleep. He kept crying and worrying about Si-won. He also practiced on several games so he could pass the time. And at the crack of dawn, he went for the hidden game right away.

Fortunately, he was able to outsmart the NPC with his strategy move. This earned him 10 extra Pieces, which meant he had a total of 13 Pieces for the next Main Match.

This gave Seok-jin an advantage with the sixth Main Match: Equation Hi-Lo.

After a series of games and eliminations, only two contestants emerged at the top to battle in the final game: Seok-jin and Orbit. The two had 16 and 11 Pieces, respectively.

The final game had a series of three mini-games that forced the two to really think things through.

The first game was a three-round game where Seok-jin and Orbit had to outsmart each other in the abstract strategy game called Nine Men's Morris.

Seok-jin won two out of three rounds in this game, which gave him the upper hand.

In the second game, the two had to play Hexagon, a game that combined memorization and arithmetic. Seok-jin won this game too, which automatically named him the ultimate winner of The Devil's Plan.

Since a winner had already been named, they no longer had to play Dice Poker, a betting game with mind games.

Seok-jin took home the prize money of 250,000,000 won ($185,771). Even though it was promised that the winner could win up to 500,000,000 won, the players weren't able to earn that much money from the Prize Match games.

It was a really fun show that tested each player's sanity. If you haven't watched it yet, make sure to check out The Devil's Plan on Netflix.
