It's not every day we get to see a reality show featuring smart people. But that's exactly the common denominator among The Devil's Plan contestants.

There are way too many reality shows that feature pretty and muscular contestants. The Devil's Plan is one of the shows that goes beyond a person's appearance.

The show has 12 contestants vying for the 500 million won grand prize. The list of contestants is made up of a mix of lawyers, doctors, celebrities, and influencers.

So who are the contestants on this reality show?

Ha Seok-jin

The first contestant introduced in The Devil's Plan is veteran actor Ha Seok-jin. Seok-jin became an actor in 2005 when he starred in Sad Love Story and Princess Lulu.

In 2019, he had a breakthrough role in Crash Landing on You.

Apart from his acting skills, Seok-jin placed among the top 1% in his college entrance exams. He majored in mechanical engineering at Hanyang University.

Lee Si-won

Another actress to join the game show is Lee Si-won, who is also an inventor. She has 10 patents under her name, including the famous clear face mask. As an actress, Si-won starred in Dream of the Emperor in 2012. She was also in Black, the Korean remake of Suits.

She graduated from Seoul National University with a Master's degree in evolutionary psychology and majored in business administration.

Lee Hye-sung

Lee Hye-sung is a household name in Korea for her work as a TV personality. Prior to this, she was a KBS announcer. She also hosted Who is Doing the Best, Love Mafia, and It's Ok to be Uncomfortable.

She studied business administration at Seoul National University and reportedly studied 16 hours a day so she could be a top student. She speaks fluent English.

Hye-sung made a cameo in King the Land and Celebrity.

Orbit (Kwedo)

Orbit is one of the non-celebrity contestants on The Devil's Plan. While he runs a famous science channel on YouTube called Unrealscience, he used to be a former policy advisor to the Blue House.

He is said to have majored Astronomy and Space Sciences. He is also known for being a commentator at live rocket launches.

Guillaume Patry

Guillaume Patry is a Canadian with an alias Grrrr… He is famous for winning Starcraft World Championship in 1999 when he was a professional player. When he came to Korea, he focused on Protoss race and announced his retirement from the game in 2004.

He then became a professional poker player. He has since left the game and lives a simple life.

Park Kyung-lim

Park Kyung-lim is a veteran comedian and entertainer. She has starred in Lovers of Joseon, Oh! My School, and X-Man. She reportedly had over 1000 guests at her wedding.

Boo Seungkwan

Boo Seungkwan is a famous member of the K-pop group Seventeen since 2015. Apart from being part of the group, Seungkwan starred in Unexpected Q, Prison Life of Fools, and Five Cranky Brothers.

Seo Dong-joo

Seo Dong-joo is better known as Danielle Suh. She works as an attorney in the US. She is also known for being a writer and broadcaster. Dong-joo is the daughter of Seo Jeong-hee, a famous Korean model.

Dong-joo graduated from Wellesley College with an Arts degree. She also earned a bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a Business Administration Master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a law degree from the University of San Francisco.

Kwak Joon-bin

Kwak Joon-bin is famous for his YouTube travel channel, KwakTube, where he has over 1.67 million subscribers. He worked for the Azerbaijan Emassy before becoming a full-time YouTuber.

Cheo Yeon-woo

Cheo Yeon-woo is a professional GO player who graduated from UCD Dublin and a top Singapore university.

Yeon-woo also has a YouTube channel called @goproyeonwoo.

Seo Yoo-min

Another non-celebrity who joined The Devil's Plan as a contestant is Seo Yoo-min, an orthopedic surgeon from the US. She graduated from NYU Medical School. Yoo-min is fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish.

Kim Dong-jae

Kim Dong-jae is perhaps the youngest person on The Devil's Plan. He is currently a Biology student at Korea University but he is proud to be a poker player.

He was chosen to be part of the show after getting a perfect score on the show's public (non-celebrity) screening test.
