Sweet Reincarnation is a new anime by SynergySP, the studio behind titles such as Too Cute Crisis and A Couple of Cuckoos. Also helping animate the show is Studio Comet of RobiHachi and Fairy Ranmaru fame.

As its name implies, the series is an isekai anime that follows a pastry maker who finds himself reincarnated in a fantasy world as the nine-year-old Pastry Mille Morteln.

In this new life, Pastry must learn how to fight and use magic to fulfill his dreams of making the greatest pastry.

Ahead of the English dub version’s premiere, Crunchyroll revealed the anime’s full voice cast, which includes:

  • Trina Nishimura (Mari Illustrious Makinami in Rebuild of Evangelion) as Pas
  • Molly Zhang (Ena Saito in Laid-Back Camp) as Marc
  • Reshel Mae (Muriel Besson in Masamune-kun’s Revenge R) as Lumi
  • David Matranga (Genjirou Tanigaki in Golden Kamuy) as Casserole
  • Charles Nguyen (Eternity Devil in Chainsaw Man) as Feuille
  • Cassie Ewulu (Nurugai in Hell’s Paradise) as Agnes
  • Thi Le as Josephine
  • Randy Pearlman (Emporio Ivankov in One Piece) as Priest
  • Sarah Natochenny (Ash Ketchum in Pokemon) as God
  • Shawn Gann as Patissier

Though it’s an isekai anime, the show’s gourmet premise should make it an interesting watch for fans who love shows about food. Plus, it should still promise to deliver some isekai thrills.

Even though it’s quite interesting, it’s still a surprise that it got an English dub this early.

After all, with its release schedule, the English dub version is only two episodes behind the Japanese version.

This is a rare occurrence as many English dub versions of anime shows are released halfway through the season.

Of course, there are a few exceptions such as Tomo-chan Is a Girl!, which got a simuldub release.

The first episode of the Sweet Reincarnation English dub is available on Crunchyroll today, July 17. It will be available in the US and other selected countries.

Then, the next English dub episodes will be released every Monday on the platform – one day ahead of the Japanese version’s next episode release.
