Spy x Family’s first season has just concluded with the release of Episode 25 during the weekend. Shortly after its release, a new teaser for Spy x Family Season 2 was shown, revealing details about the anime's next part.
This new teaser for the highly anticipated second season did not feature any animated sequences from Season 2, but it does confirm the next story arc that will be covered.

Spy x Family Season 2 Story Details
Aside from the first three episodes, Spy x Family Part 2 mostly consisted of slice-of-life segments, with the big arc being the Campbelldon Tennis arc featuring Fiona Frost aka Nightfall.
During the finale though, the main storyline had a major development as Twilight finally got his first encounter with Donovan Desmond, the primary target of Operation Strix.
While Anya’s quest to become an Imperial Scholar may not be happening anytime soon (if at all), this meeting between Twilight and Donovan has major ramifications for the story.
While it may not be surprising for manga readers, the next season will follow the Great Cruise Adventure arc.
It won’t feature Donovan, but it does feature the Forger family trio as they go on a cruise.
Of course, things won’t go smoothly, as this time, it’s Yor Forger that must prevent her husband and daughter from figuring out her identity.
Manga readers consider this arc to be one of the best of the series, so many fans are excited to see the second season when it premieres next year.

Spy x Family Season 2, Movie Release Dates
Aside from the second season, fans also have the upcoming movie to look forward to.
Announced during Jump Festa 2023, a Spy x Family anime movie will also be released next year. Unlike the anime series, the movie will feature an original story.
No details have been given about the story yet, though it’s confirmed that it will be written by series creator Tatsuya Endo.
Many anime films are not considered canon. Though it’ll be interesting to see if this new movie will be part of the series’ canon considering that Endo is on board to write it.
Whatever the case may be, Spy x Family Season 2 and the anime movie will be released sometime in 2023.
Currently, there’s no word yet on a release date window for both projects.
