About the Spy x Family Manga
Spy x Family is an action-comedy manga by Tatsuya Endo that has been serialised bi-weekly since its release in 2019.
The story follows a secret agent named Twilight. His mission requires him to create a fake family, donning the name Loid Forger.
He adopts Anya, a girl who can secretly read minds, and enters a fake marriage with Yor, an undercover assassin called the Thorn Princess.
Loid and Yor are unaware of each other's true identities, while Anya, thanks to her mind-reading ability, is the only one who knows what's really going on.
Thus, the story of this chaotic family begins — with Loid and Yor trying to hide their actual professions from one another and Anya trying to keep the family together.
The manga was already successful before the anime adaptation in 2022. However, after the anime, the series has reached even higher levels of popularity!
It was reported that soon after the anime began airing, the Spy x Family manga surpassed 17 million copies in circulation.

Is the Spy x Family Manga Complete or Ongoing?
The Spy x Family manga is very much ongoing, with no indication that it will come to an end anytime soon.
As of this writing, the series has almost released 90 chapters (or Missions), not including various short spin-off chapters that have also been created. The manga released its 12th volume in October 2023.
Spy x Family remains one of the best-selling manga in Japan right now. While the story has progressed far beyond what's seen in the anime, there's no indication that it has entered a final arc as seen in series such as My Hero Academia.
Where to Read the Spy x Family Manga
The Spy x Family manga series can be read either through Shonen Jump by Viz Media or Manga Plus by Shueisha.
As Shueisha also part-own Viz Media, the reading experience on both platforms is pretty much the same. Both are also available on both desktops and through their apps.
The Shonen Jump app allows you to bookmark your place in chapters, making for a better reading experience in the long term but also requires a small subscription to read all chapters.
Manga Plus, meanwhile, allows you to read all chapters for free. However, it only allows you to read most chapters once, after which you would need to switch (and subscribe) to Shonen Jump.
Of course, you can also buy volumes of Spy x Family for yourself! Volume 10 was released in English by Viz Media in October 2023 and is available at most bookstores.
