Good Smile Company just revealed its new Boxxo Nendoroid from Reborn as a Vending Machine, and it looks exactly like what everyone imagined it would look.
Nendoroids are one of Good Smile Company’s most popular figure lines, and they’re popular among anime fans for their cutesy looks and wide range of accessories.
Given how popular they are, many characters from popular anime get Nendoroid releases, so it comes as no surprise that Summer 23’s unique and hilarious new isekai is the next to get the Nendoroid treatment.
Reborn as a Vending Machine: A Unique Summer 23 Isekai
Isekai anime are a dime a dozen nowadays, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a season where there’s no new isekai show being aired. Summer 23 is no different, as there are multiple titles in that genre.
However, it’s fair to say that Reborn as a Vending Machine is one of the most unique, and probably one of the most hilarious as well.
That’s because, as its title implies, the series follows a man who gets reborn as a vending machine in another world.
Specifically, the series’ unnamed protagonist is a vending machine otaku in the real world, but he is crushed to death by a vending machine in a freak accident. Soon, he finds himself reborn as one in a fantasy world.
In his new form, he can only communicate with a vending machine’s stock phrases, though he can dispense all sorts of items.
Thankfully, he meets an adventurer named Lammis who starts carrying him in her adventures.

Boxxo Nendoroid Announced and It’s Literally a Vending Machine
Because Nendoroids have a cutesy style, figures in this line have deformed proportions. But that is not the case with the Boxxo Nendoroid as this new figure is literally just his vending machine form.
This figure won’t dispense drinks and food as an actual vending machine would, as it’s still pretty much just a small vending machine recreation.
Given its form, this figure is not poseable, though it does come with several face plate options, as well as some food items as optional parts.
It might not be the most creative Nendoroid out there, but it’s definitely an eye-catching figure and a faithful recreation of Boxxo from the anime.
