Following the anime’s premiere earlier this month, Crunchyroll finally confirmed the Reborn as a Vending Machine English dub cast and release date.

This new anime might not be as anticipated as the big titles of Summer 2023 such as Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 and Mushoku Tensei Season 2, but it’s one that got a lot of attention, at least because of its premise.

Even without detailing its story, the title already explains the show’s ridiculous premise quite well.

Though there are lots of isekai shows released every season, it’s fair to say that Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon might be the most absurd.

As its title implies, this show features a protagonist who is a vending machine otaku, though he is crushed to death by one.

Instead of passing on into the afterlife, he finds himself transported into another world as a vending machine.

Although he can’t talk, he can communicate with the built-in vending machine phrases. Plus, he can dispense all sorts of items.

While the series has a stacked cast for its Japanese version, the English dub cast also has some well-known names. The cast includes:

  • Garret Storms (Fafnir in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) as Boxxo
  • Emily Neves (Eri in My Hero Academia) as Lammis
  • Marisa Duran (Sagiri in Hell’s Paradise) as Munami
  • Macy Anne Johnson (Emile Elman in Spy x Family) as Suori
  • Jarrod Greene (Gardar in Vinland Saga) as Karios
  • Bryan Massey (Cocytus in Overlord) as Gorth
  • Monica Rial (Asirpa in Golden Kamuy) as Missus

Typically, English dubs of anime are released around a month or so after the original version has begun airing.

While there are shows with simuldub releases such as Tomo-chan Is a Girl!, most dubs are delayed, with some even being released after the Japanese version is complete.

But that is not the case with the vending machine isekai's English dub as it premieres this week – just two episodes behind the Japanese version.

This is also the case with other Summer 2023 anime on Crunchyroll such as Sweet Reincarnation and My Tiny Senpai, both of which premiered earlier this week.

Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon will premiere in English dub today, July 19.
