Pedro Pascal has finally addressed his casting in the MCU reboot of The Fantastic Four for the first time since the official announcement.

Last Valentine's Day, Marvel Studios unveiled the actors who will play the MCU's First Family: Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing.

Their casting in the MCU movie has been rumored for several months and fans are delighted that Marvel has finally made it official and ended the speculations.

Pedro Pascal Addresses His Casting as Reed Richards in Fantastic Four

Speaking recently with Entertainment Tonight, Pascal opened up about his The Fantastic Four casting for the first time since the announcement was made.

While he didn't provide details surrounding the plot of the movie, he shared his excitement about joining the MCU and being part of the First Family.

"I can tell you how excited I am, which is beyond. There isn't anything more exciting than being in a cast like that. Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joe Quinn, and director Matt Shakman," Pascal said.

"To be invited to a family like that is unbelievable, and we all just want to do our best and share it with the world."

Pascal wasn't the only The Fantastic Four actor who recently addressed their involvement in the MCU movie.

Moss-Bachrach also briefly discussed his casting as The Thing during his guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

He revealed that he will be playing the character through motion-capture performance and Pascal recently made a group chat for the four main actors.

It is a relief for many fans that we finally know now who is playing the MCU's First Family and it's great to hear that the actors sound excited to be involved in the project.

The film is set to begin filming in London this summer. More casting details are expected to be announced in the coming months for the supporting players who will be part of the First Family's MCU debut.

The Fantastic Four is currently slated for release in theaters on July 25, 2025.
