With the Spring 23 season coming to a close soon, we now have more Summer 23 anime getting release dates. The latest one is My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1, which recently announced its July release date.

As the name implies, this upcoming anime is an isekai, meaning it will join a bunch of other isekai titles in the season.

In addition to the release date, a new key visual for the anime along with character designs for two characters were shared on the show’s official Twitter account.

My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 is an isekai anime that, as you may have guessed, is based on a light novel of the same name.

Animating the series is Maho Film, the studio behind shows such as I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss, By the Grace of the Gods, In the Land of Leadale, and more.

This upcoming anime joins the season’s other isekai such as the similarly comedic Reborn as a Vending Machine, as well as the more serious Mushoku Tensei Season 2.

My Unique Skill’s premise is basically explained in the title, as it follows Ryota, who gets reincarnated into a fantasy world, but he discovers that his level is fixed to one in this new world.

On the bright side, Ryota has a unique skill that allows him to get cheat items that can help him.

Soon, he gets incredibly strong weapons and gear that make him overpowered, even if he’s stuck at level 1.

Currently, four voice cast members have been confirmed for the anime, and they include:

  • Kaito Ishikawa (Naofumi in The Rising of the Shield Hero) as Ryota Sato
  • Rin Kusumi (Hiyori Minagi in Slow Loop) as Emily Brown
  • Marika Kouno (Petra in Re:Zero) as Eve Callusleader
  • Mai Fuchigami (Sadayo in Persona 5: The Animation) as Erza Monsoon

The anime also revealed its latest key visual, which features the six main characters, including two new ones which are Celeste and Alice Wonderland.

My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 will be released in Japan on July 8, 2023, on selected networks.

Meanwhile, viewers in the US and other countries will be able to stream new episodes weekly on Crunchyroll beginning this July.
