Why Is There a Snake in My Life with the Walter Boys?
It's not easy raising twelve kids. Despite that, every Walter boy possesses different strengths and aspirations.
Take for instance Cole who aspires to once again become the school's star football player, or Danny who likes studying actors in movies. And Jordan Walter who wants to become a cinematographer and film director.
The series also introduces viewers to Jordan's pet, a snake named Rumplesnakeskin. You might have already guessed why he named the snake that but in case you're clueless, we're ready to fill you in.
What Type of Snake is Rumplesnakeskin?
In Ali Novak's book, Jordan owned a yellow corn snake, which is non-venomous and quite useful in getting rid of rodents and insects.
Initially, Jack Walter told Jackie they wanted a python snake, but their parents wouldn't oblige after hearing that their friend's python stretched itself to prepare to eat its owner.
The Netflix series, on the other hand, had a different Rumplesnakeskin in mind. Jordan's Rumple might either be a tiger snake or a water snake.
But knowing how they would have to live with the snake, there's a good chance Rumple might be a water snake which is the non-venomous kind.

Who is Jordan Walters in the Netflix Series?
Jordan Walters, played by Dean Petriw, is mostly seen in the show with his camera. He usually spends his time recording his pranks and his family as part of his journey.
When he went along with his brothers' prank to have Jackie dye her hair accidentally, it was thanks to his camera that caught the entire act as a part of evidence of what they did to her.
As for Dean Petriw, he previously starred in another movie you can find on Netflix, 2021's Love Hard.
Petriw also made an appearance in 2020's Sonic the Hedgehog, in a TV series called Home Before Dark as Young Matt, and now, as Jordan in My Life with the Walter Boys.
