Apart from Nikki Rodriguez playing the main character, Jackie Howards, the series also features a character named Grace, who appears to be Jackie's friend in the series. But who is Ellie O'Brien and where have you seen the actress before?

My Life with the Walter Boys is coming out this week, and the 10-episode series will introduce viewers to Ellie O'Brien who stars alongside Nikki Rodriguez (Jackie) as her friend, Grace.

But before we watch Grace's role unfold in the newest Netflix romance drama, it is worth noting that this Wattpad-based series is not her first time appearing on the streamer.

Before My Life with the Walter Boys, Ellie O'Brien made a brief appearance as a character named Gemma in Grand Army Season 1 Episode 6, Superman This S**t.

However, O'Brien is best known for starring in The Swap as a rhythmic gymnast who 'swaps' bodies with Jackson Malloy (Jacob Bertrand).

Who is Grace in My Life with the Walter Boys?

According to Netflix Tudum, Grace is a "confident, homespun type girl from a strict background. Grace bonds with Jackie on her first day at her new school, and she wants to hear everything about living in a house full of boys."

In the book, Jackie's actual longtime best friend is a girl named Sammy, whom she had to leave in New York after being taken in by the Walter family.

Jackie had to go through plenty of changes and this included making new friends.

Although Grace is not a familiar name mentioned in Ali Novak's Wattpad novel, she's likely an original character who embodies the personality of Jackie's original bestie, while being a huge fangirl of their school's most popular guy, Cole Walter.

The official synopsis for My Life with the Walter Boys reads:

After losing her family in a tragic accident, 15-year-old Jackie is forced to leave her privileged Manhattan life and move in with a large, boisterous family in rural Colorado, where she becomes entangled in a love triangle between two brothers.
