One interesting fact about the fantasy superhero Kdrama, Moving, is that it introduced its viewers to different characters. While we originally thought these characters were people in the background, they actually have more to them that meets the eye. Case in point: Shin Hye-won from Moving.

Who is she and what bigger role does she play in the series? Here's what we know so far.

In one of the episodes of Moving, we learned why Jang Hui-soo (played by Go Youn-jung) had to move to a different school. It was revealed that she stood up to the bullies of her old classmate, Shin Hye-won (played by Shim Dal-gi).

While Hui-soo tried to live peacefully and concentrate in her studies, she could not stand the abuse that Hye-won was enduring. Hye-won was a transfer student at that time and was being bullied because of her family's fortune.

When Hui-soo tried to talk to a teacher about it, she was disappointed that it only made the bullies angrier. They beat another classmate who tried to step in and protect Hye-won.

Finally, when Hui-soo had enough, she challenged the bullies, 17 to 1. The bullies did not stop attacking her, even the boys joined in.

Fortunately, Hui-soo had regenerative powers, which meant that her wounds healed in just a few seconds. Her powers also came as a betrayal to her, since the adults at school did not believe she was the victim.

The other students all sustained injuries, which caused Hui-soo to get expelled from the school. Together with her father, they had to move to another town so she could continue her studies at Jeongwon High School.

We thought that was the only time Hye-won would be mentioned in the show. But later in the season, avid fans were surprised to see Hye-won get introduced as a transferee in Hui-soo's class.

This also pleased Hui-soo since she was happy that Hye-won was unharmed by their old classmates.

The succeeding episodes gave us a peek into the backstories of the key characters of the show. And originally, we thought Hye-won's return in the later episodes was insignificant.

But in the finale, we learned that there is more to Hye-won than what the show revealed.

As Lee Gang-hoon (played by Kim Do-hoon) left the office of Min Yong-jun (played by Moon Sung-keun), he was surprised to see Hye-won escorted by two men. He recognized her as his classmate from Jeongwon High School.

Once inside Yong-jun's office, however, it was the turn of the viewers to be surprised as the elder director jumped out of his chair to apologize to the teenager.

It turns out that Hye-won has a supernatural ability that stops her from aging. Despite her appearance, she is perceived to be over 50 years old, which is why she speaks with an authoritative tone to Young-jun.

Its possible that she enrolled at Hui-soo's old school and purposely allowed herself to be bullied by the other kids to see if Hui-soo was gifted.

She knew that Hui-soo would be kind-hearted as her parents, which explains why she let the bullying continue.

This also allowed Hui-soo's regenerative powers to be awakened, which is what Hye-won needed to confirm Hui-soo was gifted. And of course, Jeongwon High School was the only school that accepted Hui-soo, despite the scuffle in the school grounds.

Hopefully, a second season will be announced soon so we can know who Hye-won truly is: a friend or an enemy.
