If there's one lesson we learned from the hit superhero Kdrama, Moving, is that everyone's story matters. People are not ultimately evil the moment they are born. This explains the surprising character who helped Kim Doo-sik escape a North Korean prison.

In this article, we'll be taking a look at the North Korean elite soldier, Jung Joon-hwa, who surprised avid viewers of the show. Here's what we know about Joon-hwa from Moving.

We only learn of Jung Joon-hwa (played by Yang Dong-geun) in the last few episodes of the series. We learned that he was a North Korean elite soldier with the ability to fly.

He was first seen trailing around Bong-seok (played by Lee Jung-ha) and Hui-soo (played by Go Youn-jung) as they rode a bus that Gye-do (played by Cha Tae-hyun) was driving.

He later followed Hui-soo as she trained alone in a sports complex. Sensing that Hui-soo was in danger, Bong-seok broke free of the weights keeping him down. Joon-hwa then learned he was Kim Doo-sik's (played by Zo In-sung) son.

Out of all the North Korean special agents who came to the school, only Joon-hwa survived. When he returned to North Korea with only one hand left, his higher-ranking official gave him a different order.

However, Joon-hwa no longer wants to help so he shoots his commander. He also went to Doo-sik's cage to free him.

Although it isn't exactly clear why Joon-hwa helped his enemy, he tells Doo-sik about the North's plans to experiment on his son.

This, of course, stems from Joon-hwa's role as a father more than a soldier. In one of the backstories, we learned that he trained to be a guard so he could provide for his family.

However, after his ability was put to the test, it was discovered that he was a gifted person who could fly.

At first, he did not want to become an elite soldier. But when he was told he would be a traitor and killed if he declined, he had no choice but to agree. He could only think of his family and what they would be facing without him.

Although a second season has not yet been announced, avid fans are hoping one will be created. After all, there is enough material to use from the source.

One of the key questions is whether Joon-hwa will be back if ever a second season were to happen.

It's important to note that in the final episodes, he killed a high-ranking official and helped Doo-sik escape. This would automatically put him as a wanted traitor and up for execution.

If he gets captured by the North Koreans, his fate will likely end in the first season and his family will be thrown in jail.

But we're hoping that he manages to escape with his family, especially since he can fly. If this is the case, he might not be in the second season since he will still be a wanted man.

Of course, we'll have to know what happens to him in the source manhwa.
