The cliffhanger ending of the fourth episode of Loki season 2 has made a lot of fans excited about what will happen next in the rest of the season. Did our favorite characters survive the explosion of the temporal loom? Is the TVA and sacred timeline dead?

There are a lot of questions that need to be addressed in the next two episodes considering how massive the consequences will presumably be for the entire MCU as a result of what happened at the end of the fourth episode.

Now, as we're counting down to the airing of the fifth episode, we finally have our first clue on the last two episodes of the season thanks to the recently released mid-season trailer.

Marvel Studios Unveils Mid-Season Trailer for Loki Season 2

Marvel Studios has released the mid-season trailer for the second season of Loki which gave us a tease of what we can expect in the next two episodes.

Based on what they've shown in this new preview which also combined some scenes from the first four episodes, it looks like Loki has gone back to time-slipping as he is seemingly visiting various timelines and attempting to fix the temporal loom again.

We also saw glimpses of the past lives of the TVA characters such as Mobius, who was seen selling jet skis, and Casey, who was spotted in a prison. They also showed new scenes featuring Victor Timely which suggests that we have not seen the last of him after all.

They also showed a brief shot of Ravonna Renslayer, who is now stuck in The Void after she was pruned by X-5 in the fourth episode.

Despite the deadly cliffhanger of the fourth episode, it sounds like it wasn't all definitive since this new trailer suggests that it is an ouroboros/time paradox situation as Loki can seemingly redo the events in the right direction.

It is exciting to see now how it will all unfold since the next two episodes are going to be massive. Hopefully, this ambitious feat will end up being successful and the new season will be able to stick the landing just like the first.

New episodes of the second season of Loki premiere every Thursday night on Disney+.
