The third episode of Loki season 2 ended with Miss Minutes admitting to Ravonna Renslayer that she knows a secret about her that will make her angry as they're stuck in the citadel.

The mystery immediately prompted excitement among fans as they wondered what secret Miss Minutes had in store surrounding Renslayer and whether the revelation would have some ramifications for the story of the season.

Now, the recently-aired fourth episode has finally addressed the mystery and it might change the way we see Renslayer's history in the TVA so far.

The fourth episode picked up where the end of the third episode left off. Miss Minutes finally revealed the secret about Renslayer by showing footage from the past that showed He Who Remains and Renslayer in the citadel.

The Kang variant was seen thanking Renslayer for commanding the army in the Multiversal War and gave her a good gesture for leading with her. Renslayer went back to the TVA while He Who Remains told her that he'd catch up.

Once Renslayer left, He Who Remains tasked Miss Minutes to erase the memories of Renslayer (denying her right as a leader) and the TVA employees and he decided to stay in the citadel.

The revelation prompted Renslayer and Miss Minutes to try to take over the management of the TVA and realize that they don't need He Who Remains to lead them again.

As some fans may have suspected, He Who Remains and Renslayer have some sort of a relationship in the past which is similar to the comics where Kang and Renslayer infamously have a romantic relationship.

While they're not exactly shown as a couple, they did partner during the Multiversal War, but He Who Remains unfortunately betrayed her since he doesn't want to have any partners which is what his fellow Kang variant Victor Timely also said in the third episode.

However, during the climax of the episode, Renslayer and Miss Minutes' attempt ended up failing as Renslayer was pruned by X-5 (who was under the spell of Sylvie) while OB rebooted the system which led to Miss Minutes being offline.

It is interesting to see what's next for the two characters in the last two episodes of the season, especially in the aftermath of the episode's massive cliffhanger.
