With the Spring 23 season now in full swing, it’s a good time to look back at the Winter 23 season’s biggest hits. Instead of just determining the season’s top shows, a Japanese karaoke company revealed the biggest hit anime songs of Winter 23.
While the top shows of the winter season are debatable, this new ranking proves that Tokyo Revengers is still king in Japan as its second-season opening song took the top spot.
Interestingly, songs from Urusei Yatsura also ranked highly in the top 10 list.
'White Noise' Is the Top Winter 2023 Anime Song
Tokyo Revengers may have a solid following internationally, but it’s fair to say that it is also huge in Japan.
After all, the series is the second highest-selling manga of 2022, so it’s no surprise that the second anime season had a lot of hype.
Aside from just excitement, Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown’s opening song White Noise was also a huge hit, making it the most-sung anime track in Japanese karaoke.
Following right behind is the second opening song for Urusei Yatsura titled Love Trap Muchu which offers a nice and cheery balance to the Tokyo Revengers Season 2 opening.
Rounding out the top three is Eve’s Bokurano which is the second opening of My Hero Academia Season 6.
This is Eve's second popular anime song as he also released Fight Song for Chainsaw Man at the end of the Fall 22 season.

Tokyo Revengers and Urusei Yatsura are easily the big winners of the season as both its opening and ending themes made it to the top 10.
With the Winter 23 season being over, it’ll be interesting to see which songs from the Spring 23 anime season will be the biggest hit. Though we’ll have to wait until July before we find that out.
