Above the Line's Jeff Sneider reported in The Hot Mic podcast that Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn is currently being eyed to play the MCU's Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four reboot.

The rising actor's potential involvement in the film was reported alongside Kirby's casting as Sue Storm. Sneider noted in his report that the casting happened prior to the current actors' strike.

Initially, he reported that The Boys star Jack Quaid is the actor that Marvel Studios was eyeing to play Johnny Storm. He made a correction minutes later and clarified that it was actually Quinn, who has also been a popular fancast.

Quaid also debunked his casting in a post on X when the initial news spread around the web surrounding his alleged casting before it was corrected to Quinn.

"Hello everyone. Nope. Not playing Johnny Storm but hey I’m flattered. Now that you’re here though, donate to the @sagaftra foundation if you can!" he wrote in his post.

So far, Marvel Studios has not commented on the reports and it is likely that we won't hear any official word from them until the actors' strike ends.

Aside from Kirby and Quinn, Sneider also reported that Marvel Studios is still casting for Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and Galactus. He also debunked the rumor surrounding Matt Smith and claimed that The Bear's Ebon Moss-Bachrach has also been cast in the film but for a different role.
