Netflix dropped the entire 2023 Nimona film on its official YouTube channel, much to the delight of the viewers. It stars Ballister Boldheart, a disgraced knight who has a romantic relationship with his fellow knight, Ambrosius Goldenloin. Who Are Ballister and Ambrosius in Nimona?
Ballister Boldheart is the street kid who had the impossible dream of becoming a knight in the kingdom.
The Queen saw potential in Ballister and decided to take a gamble on him. She believes Ballister has the heart of a hero, more than any noble in the kingdom.
True enough, Ballister is a good man who graduated first in his class.
However, not everyone is as accepting as the Queen, as Ballister often receives discrimination from his classmates because he’s not of noble blood.
Still, Ballister managed to impress the Queen, which led to his knighting ceremony.
The rest is history, as Ballister’s world turned upside down after all his hard work went down the drain.
Meanwhile, Ambrosius Goldenloin is a descendant of the legendary hero Gloreth. He is a very popular knight, with many people calling him the Golden Boy.
Ambrosius is outgoing and cheerful, and he treats Ballister without any discrimination.
Instead, Ambrosius looks up to Ballister and has a huge trust in his abilities as a knight.
Do Ballister and Ambrosius End up Together in Nimona?
Yes, Ballister and Ambrosius end up together in Nimona, despite everything that happened between them.
During the knighting ceremony, Ambrosius chopped off Ballister’s arm after the latter’s sword turned into a murder weapon against the Queen.
Ambrosius didn’t believe Ballister, despite the latter claiming that he had nothing to do with the Queen’s death.
He had a lot of questions on his mind, but he never really stood behind Ballister before the Director’s suspicious actions.
When Ballister escaped, Ambrosius volunteered to capture him, as expected of someone who’s of Gloreth’s descent.
Worse, Ambrosius even asked Ballister to team up to kill Nimona, whom he claims is manipulating everyone to achieve her evil goal. He even got jealous of Nimona for staying by Ballister’s side!
By the end of the movie, Ambrosius apologized to Ballister for everything he had done. They then made up and had a happy ending together.
