Chainsaw Man fans have been eating well these past two weeks as the manga has gotten new chapters every Tuesday. Now, fans were treated to Chainsaw Man Chapter 139 which seemingly showed Denji being able to teleport.
This new chapter picked up right where the last one left off as Denji meets a returning character from Part 1 who is now revealed to have a tempting offer.

Denji Seemingly Learns a New Move After Meeting the Sword Man
Chainsaw Man's previous chapter saw the return of the Sword Man (not to be confused with Katana Man), implying that the other Hybrids are alive, including Reze.
In this new chapter, Sword Man has a serious discussion with Denji at their school’s rooftop. Though it can be hard to take the scene seriously as Denji is once again acting like a chair, this time for Fumiko Mifune.
Despite the rather unusual situation, Sword Man explains to Denji that he and the other Hybrids are members of the Chainsaw Man Church. He also says that they want Denji to join them.
Denji replies that he’s not interested though, as he still wants to continue living his normal life as per Yoshida and Public Safety’s suggestion. This is likely in part because of his fear for Nayuta’s safety.
Sword Man walks away disappointingly after being brushed off by Denji, but not before saying that Denji could sleep with all the women he wants.
Unsurprisingly, Denji leaps out and seemingly shows off a new move as he tells Sword Man that he changed his mind.

Fans Debate About Denji and His New Ability to Teleport
While most fans thought he basically teleported, some debunked this by showing some blink-or-you’ll-miss-it details in the panels.
Specifically, the panels show a blur on the side of the door before it closes, pretty much confirming that Denji moved insanely fast.
He might not have teleported, but it’s still a funny scene that’s very much in character for Denji.
As the chapter ended with Denji expressing his desire to join the church, it’ll be interesting to see if he’ll come face to face with the other Hybrids, and if Reze is among them.
Fans won’t need to wait long though, as Chainsaw Man will return with Chapter 140 next week.
