For the past few months, there have been rumors that Taylor Swift is set to make a cameo appearance in Deadpool 3. While nothing has been confirmed yet, MCU fans and Swifties are still excited about the prospect.
The rumor surrounding the Deadpool 3 involvement of Taylor Swift was fueled even further when the Grammy winner was spotted watching a Kansas City Chiefs game with Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and the film's director Shawn Levy.
Whether Swift will end up appearing as Dazzler or herself, the possibility of her making a cameo in the MCU film is a promising idea and it also makes sense in the context of a Deadpool movie.
Now, the Merc with a Mouth himself has opened up about the singer's rumored cameo in the upcoming film for the first time.

Ryan Reynolds Opens Up About Taylor Swift's Deadpool 3 Cameo Rumor
In an interview with Vancouver Sun, Reynolds was asked about the rumors surrounding Swift's cameo in Deadpool 3.
While the actor acknowledged the rumor, he didn't give a definitive answer as he encouraged the fans to watch the film next year in order to find out the truth.
"Yeah, I’ve heard that one. I love it (the gossip). I think it is a sign of how eager people are to get a peek behind the curtain in this world. Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26," Reynolds said.
As expected, the actor didn't give an actual answer regarding Swift's rumored cameo in the film. If she does end up appearing, it is likely that they'll keep it a secret throughout its marketing campaign.
Right now, the rumor could go either way since you can argue that the "Anti-Hero" singer might not have free time to show up on set and film her cameo since she is busy right now with her world tour alongside other work commitments that she might also have.
However, it is also likely because of the mere fact that Reynolds' wife Blake Lively is a close friend of Swift and it might be an easy ask when the actor called her to potentially appear in the film.
Either way, fans are excited about the possibility since Swift is obviously one of the biggest stars right now and it will be a big deal if she shows up in the most anticipated MCU film at the moment.
Deadpool 3 is slated for release in theaters on July 26, 2023.
