For the past few months, there have been rumors that Taylor Swift is set to make a cameo appearance in Deadpool 3 as the mutant Dazzler. While it was never confirmed by anyone involved in the film, it still prevailed over the web as fans are enthusiastic about the possibility of her joining the MCU.
The rumor sparked even further when Swift attended a Kansas City Chiefs game alongside the film's stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy. The Grammy winner was present to support her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce.

According to insider @MyTimeToShineH on X, Swift is set to make an appearance in Deadpool 3 as herself. They didn't provide any details on how she gets factored into the story of the film.
Assuming that the rumor is true, it looks like she won't be appearing as Dazzler at all and instead, it will be relegated to a major celebrity cameo, which is not an uncommon practice in films and TV shows especially for a star of her caliber.
It won't be the first time that an MCU project featured a guest appearance of a well-known musician. Most notably, Megan Thee Stallion appeared in the third episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as herself.
Considering that Deadpool movies are known for breaking the fourth wall and leaning heavily toward pop culture references, it's not inconceivable that they'll have Swift pop up as herself and perhaps her appearance will be a brief gag that will lighten up the mood of the film.
Reynolds also has connections with Swift since she's friends with his wife Blake Lively so it might have been an easy ask when they talked to her about potentially appearing in the MCU threequel.
In a recent interview, Levy played coy on Swift's rumored cameo in the film. He said, "They sure are loud [Swifties]. I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see."
