Deadpool 3 is set to bring back a lot of characters from the Fox Marvel movies including Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, who is set to be the co-lead of the film, and Jennifer Garner's Elektra.
There are more names that Marvel Studios is keeping under wraps at the moment, but a lot of fans are looking forward to finding out which other characters are set to return in one of next year's most anticipated movies.
Recently, after months of shutdown due to the actors' strike, the film's production resumed again as Marvel Studios and Disney are eager to release it by late summer next year.
Now, we have another exciting scoop about the film thanks to the leaked set photos online that reveal the return of another Fox X-Men character.

Deadpool 3 Set Photos Spoil the Return of Sabretooth
The Mirror recently shared a new batch of set photos from Deadpool 3 that revealed the return of a villain from the original X-Men film.
Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, both in costume as their respective characters, were spotted filming a fight sequence with Sabretooth, one of the villains from 2000's X-Men. It is unclear yet if Tyler Mane reprised the role due to the heavy make-up.
However, it also spoiled Sabretooth's fate in the film as one of the photos showed Deadpool holding the villain's decapitated head, suggesting that he was killed off by the two heroes at the end of the fight.
The report claimed that another X-Men villain, Toad, was also spotted on the set although he wasn't seen in any of the photos.
This is another proof that the film is indeed bringing back a lot of characters from the original X-Men movies which is obviously exciting for fans and it looks like they are going to explore all realms of the Fox movies when they bring them back in the film.
The only downside here is that this surprise has been spoiled for fans since we can now expect Sabretooth's appearance in the film. It's also been rumored that the Liev Schreiber version of the character will also return, but it has not been confirmed yet.
Given that the filming is still ongoing, it is likely that we'll hear more news and scoops surrounding the movie in the coming weeks and it is interesting to see if we might encounter more leaks like this that will reveal another returning character.
Deadpool 3 is slated for release in theaters on July 26, 2024.
