Deadpool 3 is set to feature appearances of actors from the Fox Marvel movies. While Marvel Studios remained mum on the details surrounding the surprise cameos that they have in store, fans are excited to see who they are able to bring back for the special event.
One of the returning non-MCU actors who is confirmed to appear in the film is Jennifer Garner as Elektra. While her films were not critically acclaimed, her portrayal of the character is still beloved by some fans after all these years.
Now, for the first time since her Deadpool 3 casting was reported months ago, the actress is finally addressing her cameo in the film.

Jennifer Garner Plays Coy in Her Elektra Cameo in Deadpool 3
Speaking recently with Collider, Garner was briefly asked about her upcoming cameo appearance as Elektra in Deadpool 3.
However, in a typical MCU PR fashion, the actress played coy in her response as she dodged the question and responded by saying that she didn't understand what the interviewer meant.
"I don't know what you're talking about. What could you mean?" she said.
When the interviewer explained that he was "hypothetically" talking about her cameo in Deadpool 3, Garner gave another ambiguous response, "Not that I'm aware of."
Considering that the MCU is notorious for secrecy, it's not surprising that Garner did it in the interview even though her appearance was already confirmed by the trades. Perhaps she just wanted to respect the rules until she was given an official go signal by Marvel Studios to publicly acknowledge it.
This is also the first time that a public interview asked Garner about her upcoming cameo in the MCU film and it is likely that she'll continue to dodge the question if she gets asked again until the release next year.
Despite the reception of 2003's Daredevil and 2005's Elektra, most Marvel fans are still excited about the prospect of her cameo and it is interesting to see how they will reintroduce her today.
We can definitely say that there are many more names that they are keeping under wraps for now. Fans will certainly keep an eye on that in the coming months.
Deadpool 3 is slated for release in theaters on July 26, 2024.
