Aside from MAPPA Stage 2023, Chainsaw Man fans have another big event to look forward to. Recently, new details about the Chainsaw Man Festival event were revealed, including its star-studded lineup, colorful new poster, and exclusive merch collection.
At the event, attendees will be treated to live line readings from the anime’s voice cast, as well as performances from the series’ ending song performers.
Though what fans are likely most excited about is a possible Season 2 reveal which might happen at the festival.
Chainsaw Man Festival Lineup and Merch
This event was revealed previously, albeit as a mystery stage event. Tickets for the festival were also available first for those who bought the Chainsaw Man Blu-ray.
While there’s no complete schedule yet regarding the activities, the lineup of guests was confirmed recently.
Specifically, the voice actors Kikunosuke Toya (Denji), Fairouz Ai (Power), Shogo Sakata (Aki), and Tomori Kusunoki (Makima) will be at the event to perform some of their lines from the anime live.
Joining them are other voice cast members, including Mariya Ise (Himeno), Karin Takahashi (Kobeni), Yo Taichi (Akane), and Daiki Hamano (Katana Man).
As for the artist lineup, the event will feature TOOBOE, ano, PEOPLE 1, and syudou.
All four artists are expected to perform their ending themes in front of fans in the venue.
Finally, exclusive merch are also going to be available at the event. These merch feature colorful designs, and they include t-shirts, can badges, key chains, towels, and more.

Possible Chainsaw Man Season 2 Announcement at the Festival
Despite the show’s popularity, Chainsaw Man has yet to get a second season announcement.
Considering that other anime typically get Season 2 reveals in stage events, it’s possible that a second season will be announced at the festival.
Of course, there’s also a chance that the new season may be revealed at the upcoming MAPPA Stage 2023 event which is happening on May 21 – one day after the Chainsaw Man Festival.
While we still don’t know for sure, it’s still highly likely that a Season 2 reveal will be made this May, either at the MAPPA Stage Event or the festival.
The Chainsaw Man Festival will happen on May 20, 2023, at the Tokyo Garden Theater in Tokyo, Japan. Tickets for the event are available now through the official website.
