What Studio Is Producing the Chainsaw Man Anime?
The Chainsaw Man anime will be produced by studio MAPPA after they specifically asked for the opportunity to animate the hit manga.
MAPPA is one of the most respected studios in Japan when it comes to blockbuster action series.
They have produced some of the biggest titles in recent years, including Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan: The Final Season.
MAPPA also said that the anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man will have some differences from its main source, the manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto.
The anime will be directed by Ryuu Nakayama, in his first major directorial role, having worked in key animation on shows such as Jujutsu Kaisen and One Punch Man.
Tatsuya Yoshihara, who previously directed the long-running anime Black Clover, is listed as the series' action director.
The script is being created by Hiroshi Seko, who took on the same role for shounen hits Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Mob Psycho 100.
