We haven't seen much of Rick driving in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live lately, but by the end of episode 4, we see him get into the driver's seat.
Just as he is about to start the car, he looks at Michonne and tells her, "Stick shift." She takes the call to switch sides so she can drive them out of the building.
While this is considered a sweet moment for them to make out a little bit before they end up getting off track from their main goal, fans are left to wonder if Rick can't actually drive a manual car.
The Ones Who Live is filled with comedic moments that take us back to the honeymoon phase of the couple, however, fans are forgetting one crucial thing as to why Rick Grimes can't drive stick in The Walking Dead spinoff.

Fans Are Forgetting One Crucial Change About Rick in This Spinoff
The most important thing fans have forgotten to take in is the fact that Rick lost his left hand.
As one fan observed on Reddit, "I was wondering how on earth Rick can't drive a manual and then hours later, I remember he doesn't have a hand."
At the beginning of The Ones Who Live series, we get to see Rick Grimes' early attempts to escape the clutches of the CRM. Because of his attempt, he ends up having to lose his hand when he sawed it out of the handcuff he was put in.
With his left hand out of the way, it wouldn't make sense how he'll have to rely on a stick while driving them out of the CRM's and the Walkers' way.
As another fan added, "We'll be seeing "someone trying to ram [Rick and Michonne] off the road, so yeah, fat chance Rick could pull that off with one hand."
