Rick and Michonne Escape the CRM
In some form of miracle, Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) managed to escape the clutches of the CRM in The Ones Who Live episode 4 titled What We.
However, things started getting heated up once Michonne realized this was not the man she married. As much as Michonne is celebrating they finally left the CRM, Rick isn't quite as confident and wants to return to base.
Considering that Michonne has always been an independent survivor in The Walking Dead franchise, Rick's sudden change of personality and goal gets to her.
In the middle of an argument, while Michonne is confronting her husband, she finds the book on the shelves. It was a children's book called Ramona the Pest, written by Beverly Cleary. Here's why the book was brought up in the episode.

Why is Ramona the Pest Michonne's Favorite Book?
In the episode, Michonne pulls the Ramona the Pest book from the shelves and tells Rick it was one of her favorite books growing up.
For context, Ramona is the type of person who runs around, messing stuff up, a character that resonates with how Michonne dealt with the CRM so far in the spinoff.
As a sort of jab to Rick Grimes' ego of not being as free-spirited in the past The Walking Dead series, Michonne even compares the main character of the book to his son, Carl Grimes' half-sibling, Judith Grimes.
"This little girl, listening to her own rhythm, free-spirited, just like Judith," Michonne explains to Rick, "I loved her so much, I thought I was meant to be a writer for a while there. Judith's gonna love this."
Apart from reminiscing about Michonne's past life where she planned on becoming a creative writer, she also ends up telling off Rick on why he changed after joining the CRM.
Even though Rick is trying to "save" Michonne's life, she retorts to his comment on getting them out of the helicopter, "That's because I don't like who you are with them."
