Chained Soldier, also known as Mato Seihei no Slave, is set in a world where girls reign supreme after receiving blessings from peaches. It follows Yuuki Wakura, a normal working adult, and Kyouka Uzen, who has a strange blessing. As the plot unfolds, what is the relationship between Yuuki and Kyouka in Chained Soldier?

Who Are Yuuki and Kyouka in Chained Soldier?
Yuuki Wakura is an ordinary working adult who aspires to become a hero in Mato, an alternate dimension connected through gates that suddenly appeared in various places in Japan.
Since men can’t get blessings or powers from peaches (unlike women), Yuuki polished his skills, such as household chores and handiwork, to become more useful to others, especially to her sister.
During Yuuki’s high school days, his classmates would often compliment him for his cleaning abilities and even his handiwork. He is not good at academics or sports, and all he has confidence in is doing housework.
Now that Yuuki is a working adult, he wonders if there’s something or somewhere he could be useful for.
On the other hand, Kyouka Uzen is the commander of the Demon Defense Force’s 7th Squad.
She dreams of becoming a supreme commander who can manage all other commanders in addition to exterminating all Shuukis as fast as possible.
She is a highly capable swordsman who receives the blessing of “the slave” from the Peaches. She has the power to turn someone (including Shuukis) into her slave, which many think is an inferior ability.

How Did Yuuki and Kyouka Meet Each Other in Chained Soldier?
One foggy evening, Yuuki wandered into the Demon Capital of Mato due to a mishap.
According to the manual, Yuuki should not go anywhere and wait for the Demon Defense Force to protect him. The Demon Defense Force are combat specialists.
However, several Shuukis quickly targeted Yuuki, which led to him running and screaming frantically, attracting more Shuukis after him. Luckily, Commander Kyouka was in the area to save Yuuki.
She told Yuuki that there were three actions a Mato Mishap victim like him should take: keep quiet and wait for rescue; prioritize his safety and escape as far as possible if he encounters a Shuuki; and don’t waste his time talking.
After saving Yuuki, Kyouka also protected a young girl who also wandered in Mato. Unfortunately, Kyouka couldn’t handle protecting Yuuki and the young girl at the same time, so she decided to do the unthinkable with Yuuki.
Kyouka thought that Yuuki would be a useful slave who could allow them to escape from their predicament and survive.

What Is the Relationship Between Yuuki and Kyouka in Chained Soldier?
Kyouka and Yuuki have a master-slave relationship in Chained Soldier. For the very first time, Kyouka tested her blessing on a human like Yuuki, and the result was astounding.
Upon becoming Kyouka’s slave, Yuuki turned into a fighting machine that resembled that of a humanoid Shuuki. He can effortlessly kill Shuukis with his enhanced strength and fast reflexes, much to Kyouka’s delight.
As Yuuki’s master, Kyouka is obligated to reward him each time he completes a task. When Kyouka took Shuukis as her slaves, she only had to give them some meat, but when it came to Yuuki, she had to kiss him!
Kyouka’s body also moves regardless of her will, since it is the price of her blessing.
From here on, Yuuki decided to work for Kyouka in the belief that he would become a member of the Demon Defense Force.
Unfortunately, men can’t become members of the Defense Force, much to Yuuki’s dismay.
Kyouka eventually asked him to be the caretaker of the Defense Force Dormitory, which is built according to Mato’s Yin and Yang principles.
After all, Kyouka loves the idea that Yuuki is good at housework.
