What Is Chained Soldier All About?
Chained Soldier is an ecchi supernatural anime in which a portal to a demonic dimension known as "Mato" has opened, releasing monsters called "Shuuki" into the world.
Humanity's only hope is the discovery of a Mato fruit that grants supernatural powers to women only, allowing them to become Shuuki-fighting warriors.
Yuuki Wakura, a recent high-school graduate whose sister disappeared five years ago, finds himself trapped in Mato, unable to escape.
Kyouka Uzen, a girl with unusual powers, appears to rescue him but, as they become cornered by Shuuki, she makes an unusual proposal.
Girls with powers like her own can normally use their powers to enslave Shuuki and mount them in battle. Instead, she proposes to use Yuuki to unlock her full potential.
The manga is written by Takahiro (also the author of Akame ga Kill!) and illustrated by Yohei Takemura.

Some fans think that these controversial themes might be making the manga's licensing more difficult.
