Following the heart-wrenching finale of the Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2, finally, it has been confirmed that Season 3 is finally happening and it will be coming out in 2024 as revealed during the panel of the series at this year's Star Wars Celebration!
The event is the perfect time for the announcement of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3. The attendance of director Brad Rau and actors Michelle Ang who voices Omega, and Dee Bradley Baker who voices the Bad Batch strengthened the idea of the fans that the renewal would happen at the event.

Executive producers of the series, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Athena Portillo, confirmed that the series is getting renewed for Season 3 where they also affirmed the return of the Bad Batch, Omega, Palpatine, Dr. Royce Hemlock, Rex, and Fennec Shand.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 is also revealed to be the series finale which means that the narrative will finally close out the story of Omega and the Bad Batch.
The finale of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 has unveiled a lot of possible storylines that could be explored in Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 should the series be given a green light by either Lucasfilm or Disney.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 finale revealed the plans of Dr. Hemlock where his experiments deeply involve decommissioned clones. Following the death of Tech, the Bad Batch are still reeling on his loss but with the plot of Hemlock, it is possible that Tech could return.
There is also the introduction of Emerie Karr who is at Mount Tantiss where Crosshair and Omega are held captive. Everyone is surprised when Emerie revealed to Omega that she is another clone and is her genetic sister.
