There is little doubt that Star Wars: The Bad Batch was one of the most exciting shows to drop on Disney+ last year. Although the animated series had been confirmed for a second season, there haven't been any updates on when exactly we'll get to see Clone Force 99 in action again. So when can we expect The Bad Batch Season 2? The possible release date for the show may have been revealed!
The leak comes from a recent issue of Star Wars Insider magazine which listed down all the shows that fans can look forward to on Disney+ this year. Interestingly, it confirms that The Bad Batch Season 2 is coming very soon.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise that the second season of The Bad Batch will premiere in Spring this year. After all, the first season had the perfect release date: May 4, 2021. At this point, there is a huge possibility that this will be repeated since Star Wars Day falls on a Wednesday this year. However, it is also possible that a different series will premiere on that day.
But what can we look forward to in The Bad Batch Season 2? The previous season concluded with Crosshair briefly reunited with his brothers but he later decides to part ways with them. In addition to that, former Kamino scientist Nala Se is brought to an Imperial facility, teasing the Galactic Empire's plans to continue making clones. With that in mind, there is a possibility that Omega and Clone Force 99 will continue dealing with the Empire.
For now, The Bad Batch Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. However, there is a good chance that an announcement will be made very soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
